#WIBChat | A Summary – Innovative Businesses by Women for Women

On January 28, 2013, BiD Network hosted the first #WIBChat as part of the Women in Business Challenge 2013. This interactive twitter chat offered a forum of discussion for aspiring entrepreneurs to learn from experts and industry specialists.

The first #WIBChat invited the winner of Women in Business 2012 Ella Peinovich (SasaAfrica) and Women in Business 2010 finalist, Meenu Vadera (Women on Wheels) to discuss their experience as women entrepreneurs, their decision to focus and engage primarily with women, and the impact their businesses have achieved.

Missed the #WIBChat? Look over the briefing here and the overview of the discussion in the Storify below. If it fails to load, the full overview can be found on our storify page.

Stay tuned, we will be announcing details of the next #WIBChat to be held late February very soon.
