The Business in Development (BiD) Challenge Ghana puts innovative entrepreneurs with great business plans in touch with investors. Accepted plans receive feedback and are asked to present a complete business plan. Some plans are eligible for coaching. Finalists participate in the BiD Marketplace Ghana on DATE. At the event the winners of the prizes and the business trip to the Netherlands are announced.

How to compete in the BiD Challenge 2008

To compete in the BiD Challenge Ecuador 2008 you must present your plan on the BiD Network before DEADLINE by:

  • First check if you are eligible to participate by reading the participation criteria click on the yellow box 'Who can participate' on the right.
    1. Become a member of the BiD Network
    2. Create a profile in the BiD Network
    3. Complete the online business plan format

Information on how to finalize and submit your plan will be available by May 15th. If you start completing the online format before May 15th you will receive an email after May 15th with the information you need to finalize and submit your plan.

What happens after DEADLINE/you submit your plan?

If your plan is accepted to the challenge you will receive an email from us within one month after the deadline. In this email we will inform you if you:

  1. Have been accepted to the BiD Challenge Ghana
  2. How to attach a complete plan to your online business plan format
  3. If you are eligible to receive a coach
  4. When and how the finalists will be selected.
