BiD Network is looking for high potential growth SMEs in search of investment. Are you an Ugandan entrepreneur? Register for the Investment Program before June first and come to our Launch Event in Kampala, on May 12 to be part of the official kick-off of the Investment Program.


The Investment Program

BiD Network prepares entrepreneurs from Uganda to attract investment. During the Investment Program, entrepreneurs will be guided by international experts in preparing their businesses to be visited by potential investors. These investors travel from all over the world to Uganda during the Impact Investment Trip in September/October. The investors meet with the entrepreneurs of their choice with the aim to close an investment deal.

Register your company for the next Investment Program before June first. 

After being selected for the program, you sign a contract and pay USD 500 for our services. These services consist of preparing your business for investment and matchmaking:

  • In the preparation period we offer one-on-one support from experts that help you to develop your business strategy, set up your financial- & investment plan and pitch deck.
  • When your business is ready to attract finance, we offer general matchmaking within our network of 200+ investors. And we introduce you to investors that join the Impact Investment Trip in the second half of 2017 and that have expressed an interest in your business. We ensure introductions to a minimum of 3 interested investors. When an investment deal is made we charge a success fee of 5% over the investment.

Join the launch event in Kampala to hear more about the Investment Program

On the 12th of May BiD Network explains more about the services it offers to entrepreneurs and how you, as an entrepreneur, can increase the chance of finding investment by joining our Investment Program. During the Launch Event, entrepreneurs that joined the latest investment trip in March will share their experiences and a guest speaker will talk about the investment climate of Uganda.

The launch event is the start of the second Investment Program of the year, where SMEs from Uganda prepare their businesses to receive finance. At the event we open the registration for SMEs that want to be part of the upcoming Investment Program. We welcome existing Ugandan entrepreneurs and our partners to join the event. Selection Criteria for the investment program

Based on our selection criteria we decide if your company is eligible to join the program:

  • Your business must have an annual turnover of USD 100,000+
  • A strong entrepreneurial team
  • Proof of market
  • Scalable business model
  • Social impact
