Audrey Kahara-Kawuki

Ms Kahara-Kawuki is the Director of the Entrepreneurship Centre of Makerere University Business School for the last nine years. She holds a Bachelors degree in Agricultural Economist and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) majoring in Small Business Management. She ably started the Entrepreneurship Centre and has managed to develop it to the stage at which it is now.
She has worked with technical assistance from the University of Stirling (U.K) and Southern University (U.S.A) in the training of staff and students and securing placements for students after their Management Extension Programme exercise. Ms Kahara-Kawuki also lectures in Entrepreneurship at the under and postgraduate levels and has carried out various studies and business plans for the private sector.
She is in charge of developing the training curriculum and co-ordinates the various training programmes organized by the Entrepreneurship Centre for Micro, Small and Medium organizations. She is also a certified trainer in Entrepreneurship Development using the UNCTAD model.
