She directed numerous international projects, making the case for investing in natural resources and 'green' sectors for economic growth and poverty reduction.
In 2008, she founded Envalue, a consultancy that specializes in sustainability management and green markets.
She firmly believes that stimulating entrepreneurship is key to sustainable economic growth and long lasting social prosperity. Investing in the right projects is just the next step.
Marianne has a MSc in Bio-Engineering and a MA in International Relations and Conflict Management.
Being a Belgian, her favourite language is Dutch, she also speak English, French and Spanish
