Who am I? Dutch-American, born and raised in the Cayman Islands.
Though I have been living, studying and working in the Netherlands for nearly 10 years now, I love to keep in touch with people I've met from all different backgrounds and work, when I can, on projects with an international dimension.
With the Business in Development Programme at the NCDO Foundation, I compiled the 'Venture Capital Guide for Development 2008'. This encouraged me to further explore my interest for the financial side of combining business and sustainable development.
This year (2010) I will complete a Master Finance & Investments at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus. My thesis concerns how banks can deal with risk of foreign currency loans to SME in Eastern Europe.
