After I studied horticulture at Wageningen University and General Management at Nijenrode, I started working as a consultant at an accountancy firm. After two years I switched to the ING Bank where I was employed as an account manager financing horticultural businesses. Currently I work as a risk manager at the Rotterdam district of ING Bank Netherlands.
During my studies I worked for 3 months in South-Africa at an institute which supported farmers in rural areas. During this period and holidays in various countries my interest in entrepreneurs in developing countries grew. With this Bid network I can contribute to help start-ups.
