Provision of clean water to approximately forty homes at a reasonable and affordable price. The same water will also irrigate five acre of land for horticulture. Eventually it will spread to the neighboring lands and create direct and indirect employment and income to the local community improving their living standards.

When I start harvesting the fresh green produce the entire community will have fresh green vegetables for their daily use. As the project expands, it will target schools, health centers and other learning and government institutions. This service will cover the entire sub-location which has five primary schools, two secondary and one district hospital. There are four big open air public markets a few kilometers away slated for Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday and Saturday. Initially the customers will come looking for the commodity to buy on cash basis and carry them. We shall need the newly developed seed crops which mature quickly with more yields. Agricultural researchers from Kenya Agricultural Research Institution (KEMRI) have come up with various species for different locations after studying the climatic conditions. This will be our area of exploitation. Some of these seeds will be given freely for experimental purposes. The officers will be on the ground for training and instruction courtesy of government initiative. I plan to have two water reservoirs. One will serve twenty homes for their daily water consumption. The same tank with a capacity of six thousand liters will irrigate two acres of land for green fresh produce especially during the months of November to April. There is normally no rain during this period. The second reservoir with the same capacity which will be one hundred meters from the first one will serve another twenty homes and irrigate another two acres of land during the same period. The same water will also be used for car wash business since the tank is next to a busy highway connecting two major towns which are thirty kilometers apart. The water can also be used for brick making project since all the tools are available. People benefiting from this water will be within a radius of one kilometer. Currently they fetch water in three streams which are a kilometer apart some in very deep slope that really tire them up especially children and old ladies. I am sure they will be grateful for this development and support it fully.
