Hi, I'm Michiel. My expertise is related to renewable energy and energy saving. I have a masters degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialisation in renewable energies. My main topic of expertise is renewable energy from biomass resources and residues.
I have two year of relevant experience in this field. This included participation in a project focussed on knowledge transfer to Indonesia and Vietnam regarding bio-energy.
I am currently working for Nuon, an electricity company in the Netherlands, with projects related to bio-energy, heat, cold and gas. I have a special interest in cooperation for development. During my studies I had the opportunity to pick up a little experience on the subject in Peru.
