Partner of Lugha na Sanaa (Language and Arts) company . A swahili language training company for foreigners for almost 8 years as a trainer. Now I want to start a school to teach music to musicians,a sector where jobs for youth can be found .Joini me.
I am currently a swahili and cross culture trainer for foreigners and also I used to assist the African/Tanzania culture reseachers. But now it's about the music and arts in general projects( starting with the music training school). After thinking several times about the problems facing the music industry and the musician in Tanzania, I came to found out that almost all musicians in this country lack the music training and also the know how about their rights including the right of their ownership. Musicians here come from under-ground thinking that as long as they can sing, dance and or play music they can go straight to the market without music displine and win. But also I came to realise that this music industry does not recogonised by the Tanzanians and even the goverment as one of the big sector which can creat jobs for youths and reduce the poverty in Tanzania. For these reasons and many more is why I'm' planing to start a music school for musicians and then a training for film/drama actors/actress because all these artists need to know the law of copy right (the copyright and neighbouring rights Act 1997) in order to protect their work but the most important thing here is the artists to get knowledge and help them be in the sector with confidence and understanding.I'm not also forget other artists which most forgatable like painters and cartoonists. As my late father always told his children"go and do for others and do't wait for them to do for you. Join me for helping the youths (girls and boys) and the goverment to creat employment through arts.
