Curiosity and passion for innovation and new technologies drive me. I love to learn and am constantly looking for new ways to communicate, for other 'faces' of technology, for more 'feminine' sensitive crossmedia and the warmer sides of technology.
Im am communicative and open towards others, very independent if need be, and I love people and work well in team situations. I am a networker, a webmaker, I make lace with people.
Since 1997 I have worked as an independent artist with computer projects such as websites, logo's, technical maintenance of websites and special projects i.e. the concept for an online computer game about sustainability in collaboration with dr. H. Dieleman from the Erasmus Universiteit. In collaboration with “Studio Herbruik” in Rotterdam, I am developing a way to make textile from recycled material in Brazil. I have given lectures to international audiences in Belgium and at V2 (Institute of Instable Media) about chatbots.
I am also active with the artists group Occupying Spaces which researches new ways to imbed art into daily life. ( www.occupying2008.com )
My own projects are research about women and (digital) technology found online at www.cyberlace.org. Also I have participated in performances about women and computer / digitaal work in the context of the Belgian group Constant. Constant has projects which make the digital world more accesssible to women. At the moment I am organising an artists manifestation / party to discuss what to do with old hardware since technological development quickly asks for new and up to date hardware.
I did also site desig/ systeem concept /
I worked as Assistent webmaster for the IIAV - Internationale Centrum for Information and Archive of Feminist Movement and doing layout and co-editing of the on-line International Newsletter “Epos” van de Nuffic and since 2007 I work for the internet television www.joost.com as functional tester.

For this publisher in Brazil I do a weblog about digital media and books

In 200 I was responsible for the promotion of a NGO , Fundação Peirópolis, which has projects about sustainability and education.
I have worked a duration of 3 months as a representative for a business man who was working in cooperation with the federal goverment and a group of company directors. This involved doing research about the viabilty of an industry in herbal medicines based in Brazilian natural plants with the research done by local universities.
