I am Rene M. Fortuno, current head of the Luzon Regional Operations of PBSP. I was former Country Manager of BiD Challenge Philippines and Assistant Director of PBSP Training and Consulting Group before I transfered to my new post.
This is my 26th year in development work, having served Plan International and the Philippine Business for Social Progress in various capacities from community organizer to area manager under PLAN; and as Program Officer, Senior Program Officer, Assistant Unit Manager of Luzon Operations, Operations, Account Manager of the Small and Medium Enterprise Credit Program, and Assistant Director of the Training and Consulting Group under PBSP. My areas of expertise cover Commuity Organizing, Organization Development, Enterprise Promotion, Disaster Relief and Rehabilitation, Integrated Area Development, promotion of Corporate Social Responsibility, Program Management, Education and Health.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Management from San Beda College, Masters in Business Administration (candidate) from the University of Sto Tomas, and a Master in Development Management (with distinction) from the Asian Institute of Management.
