Member of the faculty of the Department of Civil Engineering of the University of the Philippines. Vice President for Technical Services of Geotecnica Corporation, a Philippine civil engineering design and construction firm. Obtained Master of Engineering degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2004. In September 2005, received a Holcim Award for Sustainable Construction in the inaugural cycle of this global sustainable design competition.
