I am a team worker and I am able to solve problems at different levels in an organization. I like to share knowledge. I have travelled many times in South America, Uganda and Carribean.
In 2006 I have coached Janneke Smeulders with her business plan Fairmail in Peru and we won one of the Bid Challenge 2006 awards!
I have worked in different companies (small and large). I started my career in the textile and shoes business. After that, I joined a company in fast moving consumer goods and now I am working at TNT, at the department Accountmanagement of the Mail Division. Always there has been a link with logistics, transport, sales and marketing. As TNT is supporting World Food Programme, I joined WFP Region Office in Uganda. For my project at the unit Procurement, I realised a better suppliers' roster by extending with new suppliers and evaluating the existing suppliers. I initiated more co-operation between the different UN organisations in Uganda for procurement.
I believe that small and medium business is essential for the development of a country: for work, new products and to reduce poverty.
Next to the dutch language, I speak english and spanish.
