Food service for sustainable development in Sierra Leone
WellBodi Food Service will be opening an all inclusive restaurant along the busy Lumley high street in Freetown, Sierra Leone. The restaurant will cater for the needs of the general public from school children to company directors. Unlike other food establishments in Freetown, Wellbodi foods will provide a unique combination of excellent food at affordable prices and achieving social objectives in a private sector involvement in development activities in Sierra Leone.
In today’s highly competitive environment, it is becoming increasingly more difficult to differentiate one food service provider from another. Wellbodi Foods does this by being the only enterprise that focuses on natural and organic lifestyle by promoting the principles of : environmental sustainability, economic equality, high quality,food safety and taste. Wellbodi food service is the answer to an increasing demand for good food that costs less in a country like Sierra leone, where poverty and malnourishment are of serious concern.
As a small business, we are poised to make our own contribution to the economic and social regeneration of Sierra Leone in reducing hunger, poverty and youth unemployment. We plan to create fourteen new jobs for young people and improved livelihoods for others in the supply chain.
