Development Forest & Water Curriculum are the challenges to encourage school to brough their children to learn about the environment problems situation. When they knew the situation, they will participate to solve the problems.
Environment Partnership is non government organization and non-benefit organization. We work closely with state agency in policy level, river basin commission through stakeholder.
Innovation Development : We development water curriculum and forest curriculum to bring school and children to participate in watershed management. Its objective and aim for water quality, flood, drought and soil erosion control. We doing teacher training to develop local curriculum and bring environment problems issues to school programs. We also develop the river bank for green zone, buffer zone to control agriculture chemical pill over to the river. We create the river bank for our field study and water training center.
Land and Water Conservation : We are promote to do compose to reduce production cost and reduce to use chemical and harmful chemical in agriculture sector. We work with state agency to built check dam, plant grass and trees to cover forestland.
Renewable and Clean Energy : We promote and enhance stakeholder to plant trees for house and for furniture use and raw material for wood crafts. We promote solar energy and water energy to reduce CO2 and air emission for global change. We also enhance villagers to use biogas to reduce house expense and recycling waste to save water quality. To generate wind energy and solar energy for eco-tourism are potential and our challenges, but we did not have the partner yet.
Diversity and Food Security : We do land planning with GPS and GIS to category private land use and develop community forestry. It is integrated to protect fire, forest encroaching and save diversity for food bank. Green peafowl are our endanger species need to protect and it can be a potential to investment for eco-tourism. We promote villagers to do nursery for local plant to rehabilitate wild animal and ecosystem, food plants and herb medicine for self sufficient economy and income.
Community Forestry Management : We work with Wildlife Sanctuary Officer to categorize private land use and conservation areas with GPS/GIS to save the upper watershed and sensitive ecosystem. We create the new occupation for villagers to deduce encroaching common land, stop illegal logging and conservation traditional culture and local wisdom knowledge to protect the forestland. We encourage villagers to planting teak wood, bamboo for furniture and raw material for wood crafting.
Environment Partnership is develop from The Coordination Center For Natural Resources & Environment Management as a social organization. (established in 2000) The organization work closely with water user groups, communities and state agencies. We established the water user groups to be a networking and promote their wisdom knowledge to local education and Irrigation Learning Center. The context of water management include structure administration, water law, water right, landscape engineer as a community land planing, useful benefit and equal. The cultural of water management are primary from believe harmonize with nature. Now the Environment Partnership try to promote the social capital to emerging to economic value and environment value. Drinking water factory is adaptation of environment crisis in waste water & sanitation.
