I am Marc Habets, the Managing Director of
OAVM Organisation & Consultancy.

In addition,I am the Ambassador for KLM CLUB AFRICA (www.klmclubafrica.com). This business community is of pristine quality and embodied with a network of experienced professionals all with the same focus. To work together and seek partnerships for projects in whole Africa.

OAVM is an professional consultancy and networking organisation from the Netherlands established in 2005, specialised in working for work councils with emphasis on human resource management and organisator of conferences and leadership programs. To provide the best service OAVM works together with a team of specialised associates, all of which provide a wealth of expertise from their own skills,strategic human resource management to skills development, but also in communication, reintegration and working and health conditions. We provide solutions for every aspect which occurs in the relationship between employee and employer. Our mission is to bring people and companies together for a mutual benefit and specialized in leadership issues. The focus of OAVM is international with special attention for new developements on different aspects of the subjects mentioned. OAVM is always looking for new challenges and is willing to invest and innovate with the help of new interesting associates. We assist our clients in acheiving their objective through the link of their common interest.

Developing leadership, people’s skills and competencies as part of the investment in the capital of human resources is essential in improving quality of work and employment. People are the key to success. Investment in learning and developement therefore is fundamental if a company wants to improve its performance. This developement is even more important for companies because there is more and more the need of matching HRM with cultural international elements. OAVM is therefore working on a new concept: Global Human Resource Management. In today’s globally intergrated, tightly regulated and increasingly competitive market people are the critical success factor. People provide a major opportunity for competitive advantage and often represent significant investments. However, employers are not always equipped to look at their human capital from multiple perspectives. Human capital is a stock of assets one own, which allows one to receive a flow of income, which is compared to interest earned. Human capital is substitutable, it will not replace land, labor, or capital, but it can be substituted for various degrees.

The objective of OAVM is to help companies and their employees to make the most of their human capital investment and better align their human resources programs, goals, and systems with an overall business strategy. The approach we take is to implement skills and development strategies looking from different angles. We aim to add value to their business, create life-long learning and optimise HRD spending.

Currently we are in the process of launching a new and spectacular leadership and Human Resource Development Programme. The venue is South Africa where participants would be able to capture South Africa and its unique quality. Main goal is creating a corridor for HR professionals and companies who are looking for new challenges in Southern Africa.
