Michael Lesser is an economist with over twenty-five years of experience in developing countries working on infrastructure issues, with a focus on energy (both conventional and renewable), rural and environmental issues. He has undertaken financial and technical analyses of a wide range of infrastructure projects, developed project feasibility models, and worked on related implementation and policy issues as well as training activities. He has worked in Asia, Africa and Latin America and has served as project manager. He has consulted for a range of development finance institutions, such as the World Bank and the Asian and InterAmerican Development Banks. He holds a B.S. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
