    This is me.

I am Danilo M. Cerence a resident of Cebu, Philippines. My friends call me Danny. I am 37 years old and married to Katerina R. De la Rosa. I am presently working with the Visayas Regional Office of the Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP) as a Senior Program Officer and at the same time Officer-in-charge. My principal duties are to supervise the operations of the PBSP Visayas Regional Operations in congruence with the PBSP Visayas Regional Operations Mandate and Plans. The programs and projects of PBSP which I am supervising are Provincial and Area Resource Management Programs in Bohol, Negros Occidental, Cebu Hillylands, Metro Cebu and the Olango Islands in Cebu.

My other tasks are to be a resource person/trainer/consultant in areas of organizational and enterprise development management and other areas of my expertise. I also provide technical consultancy to members and non-member companies of PBSP, assisted Cooperatives, partner-NGOs and community-based organizations in community development, institution building, livelihood and enterprise development.

I can also take the lead in organizing and coordinating various sectors from the private sector, civil society and the local government that are supportive to the programs of PBSP. I can also conceptualize and develop resource mobilization agenda for the furtherance of existing programs of PBSP.

All these I have acquired and developed within my 16 years in social development and with PBSP.

I have excellent verbal, written and communication skills and proficient in Word, Excel and Power Point Presentation and web log publishing.

On my spare time, I love reading books and watching movies at home. I also relish writing my thoughts online. I play badminton with friends and can cook. The great outdoors like the beach and hills are my best places to relax. My idea of a great vacation is to go on snorkeling and just sit under shade of trees or sit on a porch on the beach with a great book or the comfort of the company of my wife or friends and just laugh at the humor of a great joke, share in the wisdom of an anecdote, (and perhaps discuss why the rates on the resort have been impossibly unaffordable for low income Filipinos, and why the fisherman passing by the lovely white sand beach looks so sad,) and then we all go to a lovely dinner outdoors.

I pray that some day, my wife and I will be blessed with a child.
