Gaye on trip to view proposed site of orangutan field station on the Katingan River
Born in Tasmania and married to a Thai, travelled a lot, but have settled in Central Kalimantan now for 4 years to operate the Kalimantan Meeting Centre and to build tourism here with my company Kalimantan Tourism Development. Current projects include developing hotel boat for the Katingan River, redeveloping port building into a restaurant to support local microenterprises, tourist centre and boat tour starting point in Palangka Raya with local government, working with local artists, musicians and guides to develop tourist sites up rivers and in the jungles.
