Gary Zieff
Gary Zieff spent five years as a consultant Project Manager leading Shell Oil’s Groundwater Team at Shell’s California facility. While there he supervised data collection, analysis, operation and maintenance for the entire 12-acre facility ensuring groundwater barrier control per state and federal permits requirements. Since 2006 he has been leading dissigno in product development projects including the development of a renewable energy powered refrigerator. His social business and marketing plan for the refrigerator was a finalist in William James Foundation Business Plan Competition. For the roll out he created partnerships with public and private sector enterprises operating in rural poor communities in India. In addition he is leading a development project with Sustainable Energy Partners to bring small-scale power generation and lighting to rural communities in Haiti.
