Knowing the importance of skills mastery for businessmen, the Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP) in partnership with Accenture and Bayan Academy conducted a two-day training for BiD entrepreneurs.
Held last November 28-28, 2011. Sixteen
SME owners took part in the said training held in Manila. These entrepreneurs are finalists and winners of BiD Challenge competition
The training was mentored by Bayan Academy faculty members and was sponsored by Accenture through their global corporate citizenship focus, Skills to Succeed program.
Another training is organized to be held on February 21-23, 2012 in Davao City for the enterprises located in Visayas and Mindanao

The Business in Development (BiD) Challenge Philippines is a business plan competition, which aims to generate new and innovative business ideas that combine poverty reduction and profit. Viable ideas are matched with potential investors.
Participants can: (1) receive personal and professional coaching to develop a solid, bankable and complete business plan, and (2) get exposure to a network of Filipino and international financiers, investors and other business contacts.
