1. What is your business model, how will profit be generated ?

Core business : service, repairment, maintenance, trade, selling all of ship equipment. Including : electric motor, crane ,pump, ellectricity, machinery, radar, air conditioner, ship body scrub ship body painting.

Profit will be generated by :
We take a example income at a related / same dockyard business that every ship / fishing vessel with minimum job description that must be done on dockyard are :
1. To pull up ship on railway.
2. To clean (ship body scrubing) from oyster (waste) or sand blasting (an optional request from the owner).
3. Anti Corotion and anti fulling body painting
4. To pull down ship on sea.
Service listed above are charged service cost between 10.870,- (Euro) until 15.217,- (Euro) depend on ship DWT (death weight ton). For information, working / repairment period for every ship / fishing vessel on dockyard is approximately in 2 weeks.
If we take an average of 13.043,- (Euro) as service charged cost for every ship (net income) :
An example on dockyard only 1 unit slip railway available, so in 1 month (4 weeks), could serve 2 ships / fishing vessels.
So net income each month is approximately : 2 ships x 13.043,- (Euro) = 26.086,- (Euro).
That approximate net income might be more than calculation above (the minimum income target each month), because repairment service are not only limited to 4 kinds of service shown above.

2. Who are your customers and why will they buy your product / service ?

our costumers are fishery company both local and foreign company that own their head or branch office in Tual (Southeast Maluku) and the fishing ground located not too far away from dockyard location. meanwhile a fishery company when docking period time is arrived, their ship / fishing vessel must do docking activity once a year (it is a must thing to do by a ship according to transportation department rule for safety operation) in Bitung (North Sulawesi), Sorong (North of Papua), Makasar (South of Sulawesi), even must sailing to Surabaya (East Java) because dockyard company have limited number in indonesia especially in Southeast Maluku who have the biggest fishery potention / sea product around Indonesia and maybe all around the world. its potention such as fish, lobster, shrimp, pearl, edible sea-cucumber but the fact is the people of Southeast Maluku are still living in poor life level and one of the most lower poverty level region in Indonesia.

The beginning of this business idea is started by there is a good challenge and the best opportunity ever had which the market are ready but there is no dockyard facility yet. According to this situation happened so we make a planing and do it step by step. Doing an enviromental study to choose right location to build a dockyard.city of Tual being the best choice because its location is not too far away from fishing ground and the nearest place to center croud (market, living area, airport, harbour, etc) of Tual city. Planning process is done by make a good cooperation with connection people / department / company such as government department and winch builder company.
All the necessary recommendation letter is got to support this business idea. It means that region government is fully support this plan. By arranged a dockyard building proposal, we are ready to build a dockyard and now looking for a soft loan to realize hope of Southeast Maluku people come to true. 1. What is the impact of your business on local ? (in)direct employment ? (in)direct income ? quality of living standards, knowledge and skills, and the enviroment ?

The impact on local people around dockyard location, is to increase their living standard, increase capital income, reduce unemployee worker, give knowlegde and skill to people work at dockyard (direct). People around dockyard could make their own business by make a shop selling daily need, or a restaurant, barber shop etc (indirect). By increasing capital income, hope the people around dockyard could create good living standard and better enviroment.

2. How does your plan contribute to the Milenium Goals (MDGs) ?
quantify as much as possible and mention both short-term (3 years) and long-term (10 years) spin-offs.

Short term : First we have to run this business idea smoothly and then after has reached profit target, this business could hiring other many people around dockyard location, give them work, increase capital income, create better living enviroment. By all of this, it will reach our destination to reduce poverty level around the society and decreasing sum of people who hunger especially children, increasing nutrition food for children (point 1), reduce children / baby / pregnant mother mortality (point 4). Eliminate gender disparity by promote gender equality (hiring both women and men as their skill) (point 3).
By the increasing of capital income, the people around dockyard will have a good health living standard, so it could reduce the martenal mortality ratio (point 5), give them knowledge about the dangerous of HIV / AIDS, malaria and other diseases by a learning education process (point 6). For children and teenage if their parent have a good income, so they could get education at school. It is ensure that all children have a complete full course of primary education (point 2).
By this business idea, hope it will create a better enviroment living place around dockyard location, to repair loss of enviroment resource, reduce by half the propotion of people without sustainable access to safe drinking water. Next planning step is to Develop a global partnership for development. Creating further development trading, in meaning to reduce poverty level (point 7 and 8).
Long term : the fact is, people of Southeast Maluku are still living in lower standard and being one of the most poor region in Indonesia (under poverty level), our mission in next development plan are by adding investment of other business idea to create work feild to other people unemployeed worker around Southeast Maluku and support millennium goals.
