Geared towards preparing Kenyan SMEs for finance
InvesteQ Capital is a 7-year old company whose focus is to provide financing solutions to SMEs in Africa.
InvesteQ focuses on structuring and advising SMEs on various short to medium-term trade finance facilities and on raising medium to long-term capital for other larger companies.

Why participate?
- Receive feedback, coaching and/or support on writing your business plan
- Be selected to participate in training on Business planning and Ready for Finance.
- Get selected to pitch your business in front of a live panel of financiers
- Get access to a network of over 36000 members and useful business tools
- Win a participation in the regional East African SME marketplace to be held early 2012
- Get exposure to national and international media
- Get exposure to over 100 international investors interested in financing SMEs in emerging markets
Who can participate?
- You are an Kenyan and your business is registered in Kenya
- Your financing requirement is between USD 10.000 and 1.000.000
- You aim to be profitable within the next 3 years
- Your business is a growth business; with a yearly growth rate in sales and/or employees of 30% per year
- Your plan summary is submitted in English
- Follow the general general participation criteria of BiD Network
How to participate?
- Read the criteria above to check your eligibility.
- Join the BiD Network and create your profile. Click on the box ‘How to present your plan’ on the right for more info.
- Log on and click ‘New Contribution and then [+add a business plan].’ Write your plan summary by filling out the online business concept form.
- Click the checkbox 'InvesteQ Capital Entrepreneur Challenge' and submit your plan summary.
Deadline for submission is August 15th, 2011.
