The Business
Basanda is a contractor for projects in construction, hydro and civil engineering. We work on project base. Either on set projectdefinitions or by our own design.

The need for housing, company estate and infrastructure.
Basanda hires the services of an engineer, specialised in hydro projects. He knows how to apply local building materials in a durable way. Basanda only works with local personnel.
Our focus in marketing is the private sector, to find partners in business to spread the company risk. Through our website registered in Ghana Yellow Pages, EverythinginGhana and other Ghanaian business sites, our clients can find us. We visit international building events to establish more contacts.
At the moment we are working on projects acquired from the Ghanaian government and municipalities. We are actively purchasing work as subcontractor in projects of private companies.
We are still assembling data by a marketresearch. It's known to us there are several international companies taking on large projects in Ghana.
There are only a few local large contractors in Ghana. There are more small ones. They work according to the Ghanian business culture and a lot of them don't have their own website.
A resultoriented profitable approach makes the difference. Also the range of products Basanda can deliver is diverse. Our advantage to competitors is our international and professional approach.
We combine African techniques with European knowledge. Also we take the best of both business cultures.
The growth of Basanda Company is already stable as one can track in the financial results. This has been achieved with private equity.
By finding international partners in business and acquiring funds however, Basanda expects to expand more quickly. Currently there are more business opportunities, then Basanda can take on because of the element of pre-investment. The aim is to become one of the larger contractors in Ghana.
Development
Employment: we work with local personnel. They work on projectbase, but when Basanda expands, we'll establish a chore of permanent contracts, besides projectcontracts.
Improvement of health: with the clinic and the sewerage we contributed to the improvement of health. Also the bridge helps hygiene, so waterborn diseases have less chance to spread.
Facilities: the projects done by Basanda improve the facilities for daily life of Ghanaians.
