Originally the Sarimanok News Network (SNN), ANC was conceptualized to bring news that matter most to Filipinos. From just two newscasts a day, it has evolved into the only Filipino 24-hour news channel, operating seven days a week.

ANC now forms part of the Integrated News and Current Affairs Division of ABS-CBN. As a key component of the largest broadcasting network company in the country, ANC has the ability to bring events live on the air, as it happens.

After ten years, the News Channel continues to develop itself as a credible source of information. Its programming has been designed to bring global news through Asian lenses…from a glimpse of the news to a full length report with analyses.
