BiD Challenge Tanzania 2007

The Business in Development (BiD) Challenge offers entrepreneurs the opportunity to develop and execute business plans that improve living standards at a profit.

In Tanzania, a total of Tsh 44.200.000 in prize money, were given out during the final award event which was held on 8th November 2007 at Movenpick Hotel in Dar es Salaam. The colourful event which was well attended started from 11:00am to 17:00am for SMEs Market Place followed by Award Ceremony from 18:00hours. The Guest of Honor was Dr. Stergomena Tax Bamwenda, Permanent Secetary, Ministry of Industry, Trade and Marketing.

Top 10 paricticipants presented their business plans in front of the Guest of Honor and all invited. The winners were then declared as follows:
