150 business opportunities for investment

Dear Reader,

Just a short e-mail to express one of the outputs of the Business in Development (BiD) Challenge: the international business plan competition for profit and poverty reduction.

This year, we received over 1000 three-page business proposals of which 150 BiD Entrepreneurs reached the finish line (solid and complete plans).

25 finalists have been selected by the jury and will come to the Netherlands in the week prior to the BiD Marketplace & Final Award Event on September the 29th.

But it doesn’t stop there! These and other BiD entrepreneurs have concrete investment opportunities with a developmental impact for you as well!

If you or colleagues of your organisation are interested to explore the opportunities, please:
1) Go to the complete plans, go to the page to find plans or go to the page to support plans.

2) We have a thorough overview of all the BiD plans. Contact us and tell us your preferences on e.g. the country, sector, stage (start-up or established), investment size, development impact (MDG), expertise needs, etc. We can make a tailor-made selection.

In case you know people or organisations for whom the BiD business plans could be relevant, feel free to forward this message.

Are you Challenged? Do not hesitate to contact us for further information.

Kind regards,

John van Duursen
