Macahua is a Tacana indian community close to Madidi National Park, inside the Bolivian rain forest. This community has a cocoa project aimed at reforestation in agroforestry systems. Dr. Martien Beek from The Netherlands is in the photograph. He was visiting the community to assess the genetic material for cocoa plants present in the region.
