Inneedhome is a non Govermental Organisation that provides support services to vulnerable groups like underpreviledged children, widows, youth and the aged.
It started in 2003 and it now looks after 50 children in its premises in Namuwongo. Most of them are in primary school and others are in pre primary that is beeing run in the premises of the Inneedhome at Namuwongo.
Inneedhome cordinates the work of women group who make leathercraft and other types of hand crafts that are sold in Uganda and outside Uganda especially by the help of Volunteers who come to Uganda and take some samples of our products to Canada and USA.
Inneedhome has been in existence for the last 9years and has made impact on lives of the vulnerable groups especially the youths, children, women and the aged.
The underpreviledged children are given education, healthcare and those that have undergone through hardtimes that need rehabilitation are put on rehabilitation program by counsellors.
The women group are given training in entreprenuership skills and also guided in making handcrafts that are sold in and outside Uganda.
Inneedhome is undertaking the program of constructing a primary school for the underpreviledged children, a home for the aged and a health centre to provide the medical care to the members and the citizens in the neighbourhood.
This is to be constructed on the Land that has been donated by Buganda Kingdom to Inneedhome in support to its activities.
Apart from the above activities Inneedhome operates a photo and video studio that serves the organisation and also generates income for the organisation.
