Report on the kick-off workshop, Arusha, Tanzania, 10-12 May 2010

On May 10-12 the kick-off workshop of the Africa Agribusiness Academy was held in Arusha, Tanzania. The workshop was organized by Wageningen UR and its Tanzanian project partner Sokoine University of Agriculture. 17 pre-selected African champion entrepreneurs from three countries, six Dutch business leaders and a number of African keynote speakers participated (Annex 1). The
workshop kick-started the AA Academy and aimed to discuss the basic assumptions and key activities
of its business plan.
