“Growing SMEs; It’s time to invest!” is a unique Investment Market Place for high growth SME entrepreneurs to pitch to one of the largest groups of SME-focused institutional and angel investors ever to converge.
The event will take place on June2, 2010 at the Fokker terminal in The Hague, the Netherlands

“Small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) are the majority of businesses in any economy. These powerhouses create the most jobs. Yet access to finance remains a huge obstacle for SMEs. Solving the access to finance bottleneck is potentially the key to sustainable economic growth in developing countries”, explained Thierry Sanders, director of BiD Network, which is organizing this large scale event.

Mounting evidence shows SMEs typically producing year-on-year sales growth of 25% to 30%. Only with the right strategies, can this high-growth segment of developing markets provide inviting opportunities for commercial investment as economies begin to grow again.

The already traditional Market Place which BiD Network organises on a yearly basis, comes this year with four times the number of entrepreneurs with investment grade business plans, as well service providers who will also pitch their services

This time approximately 100 entrepreneurs from several organizations , also active in the field of SME development, will be attending the Market Place and pitch their business to potential investors.
