BiD Challenge

BiD Challenge Partners 2006

Our partners actively support the BiD Challenge on the basis of their expertise and competences. They promote the Challenge in their organisation and through their networks, provide expert screeners and coaches, and financial support. The BiD Challenge partners are key to the success of the participants and the project itself. Without the partners, there would be no BiD Challenge.

BiD partners are private companies, international NGO’s, ministries, financial institutions and knowledge centers. Each partner contributes in a number of different ways, namely;

  • Assist in the (inter-)national promotion through their networks of employees, business partners and relations.
  • Engage their employees as screeners (reading and assessing the Round 1 BiD plans) and/or as professional coaches (supporting the participant in writing a solid business plan in Round 2).
  • Deliver country, sector and/or theme specific expertise.
  • Provide prize money, follow up investment capital and/or expertise for the winning and non-winning plans that best match the partner profile.

The BiD Challenge facilitates different types of partnerships.
