EMRC - European Marketing Research Center
Established in 1992, the EMRC mission is to diminish the gap between developed and developing countries, striving continuously to implement pioneering concepts designed to promote economic relations and to combat economic poverty.
A business oriented international association, focusing on the micro economic level, small & medium enterprise, EMRC started its activities in Central & Eastern Europe, described at the time as "transition economies". Today they are becoming integrated into the "enlarged EU".
Initially, EMRC Forums in Brussels were oriented toward these "new" entrepreneurs, executive and political decision makers, eager to learn of liberalisation, privatisation, market economy and advanced marketing concepts from internationally renowned experts. The forums also provided opportunities to meet future EU partners, learn from their experience and exchange ideas.
