ISME& OFNET Business contributes to poverty alleviation and food security with a combination of many features such as increasing yield in low output areas, conserving biodiversity and nature resources on the farm and surrounding areas, increasing income and reducing cost, sustainable in the long term, producing safe and varied food, job creation skill,education and knowledge.

MISSION:
ISME & OFNET carries out its mission of fighting poverty through dealing on sustainable agriculture (organic farming) and selling organic farm produce focusing on growing , processing and marking of whole organic maize flour , wheat flour amaranth flour ,sorghum flour , millet flour with a brand name Uhai flour and packed with flour blends namely: uhai maize meal , uhai wheat meal , uhai amaranth meal and uhai junior meal.

SERVICES:

1. Registration - Incorporating groups of farmers and community based organization(CBO) those dealing in sustainable agriculture where maize, wheat, amaranth, sorghum and millet can grow.
2. Production – giving support services, credit, training in organic farming, farm inputs to the poor farmers those registered With isme& ofnet to start farming organic quality produce.
3. Market - farmers will be supported to open new business such as becoming distributors and retailer shop keepers when supplied with organisation products.

4. Hunger reduction: The organization will be taking care of its members by storing food for them in case of famine.
5. Income generation– A farmer will earn premium price, bonus for quantity supplied and divided for share contributed. Members can be contracted and paid commission for selling our products.
6.Job creation: (Demonstration farm) members and the community will be employed to work on a demonstration and two farmers will be trained to work as extension officers and employed permanently within their geographical area.

7. Hospital fund: Farmers will be accessed to National Insurance Hospital Fund (NHIF)

8. Projects:
(a)Water harvesting – to ensure every member have harvested water from his/ her house.
(b)Tree planting – the organisation will ensure farmers campain for planting trees country winde annually to reduce pollution.

The Equity Group foundation and master card foundation are partnering to offer financial education and on entrepreneurship program targeting women and youth in Kenya.
The financial education training, teaches people about the concept of money and how to manage it wisely.
It offers the opportunity to learn basic skills related to earning, spending budgeting saving and borrowing.
Once people have acquired the financial literacy skills they be become more informed financial decision makers, they can plant for and realize their goals thus financial education has lifelong rewards.
Isme and ofnet constitute a significant position in achievement of vision 2020 as we target 300 groups of farmers equal to 7,500 membership.
Equity Bank targeting and main streaming woman and youth into financial system, the country will have admired significant house hold social –economic challenges.
The training program is geared towards increasing entrepreneurship, business skills to woman and youth to enable them make better use of available and emerging business opportunities.
The chairman of isme and ofnet has requested equity bank to partner with isme & ofnet for further training of 300 groups of farmers totaling to more 7,500 members that the organization is targeting to incorporate.
