Why should you take the time to make a fact sheet?

• Neat look: It gives a more professional look to your business plan. Just as the online plan application, the fact sheet becomes the "face" of your business plan.

• Complete document: It contains all the key elements / information that an investor needs to know about your business plan in one page.

• Practical: It makes it easier for investors to read it, and for you to send it or hand it out when most needed, without you having to send your complete business plan.

• It saves time to investors: always remember that many investors do not have the time to read 15 pages of your business plan.

1. Download the "Investor Fact Sheet Template" that you can find at the bottom of this page.
2. Make sure you fill it in with all the required information and facts about your business plan. You may also use the text of your plan application. Tip: consider uploading a nice good looking picture of your company or product!
3. After a thorough check of its content, you may print it. It will automatically fit in one page.

Optional: you can also make a one page pdf file by:

1. Downloading PDF995 from www.pdf995.com/download.html (follow the instructions there)
2. After downloading and installing the program and printer driver, go back to your fact sheet (the excel file), press 'print' and choose ‘pdf995’ as printer.
