Orient Bank is a commercial bank in Uganda. The bank is involved in all aspects of commercial banking with emphasis on provision of banking services to non-government organisations (NGOs) and their staffs. As of March 2009, Orient Bank is the 9th largest commercial bank in the country.
Orient Bank promotes new business enterprises or expansion of existing ones through its business loans scheme, indirectly assisting in the economic growth of Uganda. We specially cater for viable business ventures and offer fixed term financing. We are also the authorised issuer of APEX loan facilities for development, available directly through Bank of Uganda, on a subsidised interest rate.
