Rabobank: Share in Tanzanian Bank

Rabobank is about to take a share in the National Microfinance Bank (NMB), the largest Bank of Tanzania.
The bank is in charge of a consortium of three local partners. These partners can obtain a 49% share in NMB if the Tanzanian government and parliament will agree with the offer that presumably amounts to € 23,2 million. As it seems, other consortia were interested to make an offer, but apparently, the consortium supervised by Rabobank is the only one meeting the set criteria. (Source: NCR Handelsblad)
