Mediamatic Lab is an agency, responsible for the design and development of this website. We are experts in online co-operation, communities, knowledge sharing and storytelling.
Mediamatic Lab is creating community space. We develop environments which facilitate cooperation, knowledge exchange, business networking and information. We give the power to the user of the website. When you can play an active role yourself, it is more fun, more attractive and more effective to be part of a network. For this, we are constantly improving and innovating interaction patterns. Re-use the good ones, improve the rest.
We live in the office with Mediamatic Foundation. This foundation is searching for new opportunities in art and new media.
We developed our own information framework: anyMeta. This Content Management System works according the principles of a semantic network. This means that the meaning of a relationship is stored, and that we can reason with these relationships. The structure of the informations becomes metainformation and we are able to establish links which stay invisible for other software.
Mediamatic Lab is founded by Willem Velthoven, Marc Worrell, Bas van Rijen and Ino Paap.
