BiD Network Foundation supports hundreds of entrepreneurs all over the world. This is a lot of work. Many entrepreneurs and business plans need some personal attention. BiD Network is looking for volunteers in the Netherlands to support the efforts of the investor matchmaking team on the following:
- Assessment of business plans, especially in Spanish
The business plans submitted by entrepreneurs worldwide need to be assessed on their quality and feasibility. BiD Network provides entrepreneurs with constructive feedback. Assessors need to have some experience in assessing business plans and must master the Spanish language.
- Motivating entrepreneurs to improve their business plan documents
Entrepreneurs that have promising business plans will be accepted to be brought to the attention of investors. However, the documents of these entrepreneurs are often lack the quality to be presented to investors. BiD Network cooperates with its national partners to motivate and support the entrepreneurs to improve their business plan and getting them ready for investment. Volunteers act as account managers for these entrepreneurs and guide them through the process of getting their documents in order.
- Elaborating the network of financiers
BiD Network improves its network of investors continuously. Strengthening the ties with current and new investors and serving them with business plans that meet their preferences are ongoing activities of BiD Network Investor Matchmaking. Volunteers help the matchmaking department with interesting investors in BiD entrepreneurs.
The volunteers that we are looking for:
- have an academic background in business and/or economics;
- are available for 10-20 hours per week until January 2009;
- are available for 5 - 10 hours per week during the rest of the year;
- are preferably fluent in Spanish;
- have affinity or even experience with entrepreneurship in developing countries.
We need to be able to count on our volunteers, so we do expect a commitment. In return you will receive proper training and guidance from the BiD Network team.
