Nairobi International Youth Empowerment & Participation in Tourism Trade Fair

Youth Empowerment and Participation in Tourism is an initiative aimed at involving the youths in matters of tourism and business, promote ethics, safeguarding of our natural heritage, showcase employment and investment opportunities for the youths in tourism among other business sectors in Kenya.

Tourism for positive change is the driving force behind this idea and the main challenge that this initiative looks forward to achieve is Leadership and Engagement of the youth among other age groups in matters of tourism in Kenya. Other major to issues include;

i) Cultural Pluralism and Preservation of Cultural Heritage to foster a culture of responsible tourism
ii) Employability, Investment and Entrepreneurship
iii) Youth Innovation and Diversification for sustainability and poverty eradication

The Event is meant to take place on 5-8 March 2009 at Kenyatta International Conference Centre, Nairobi Kenya.

It will take 3 format.
i) Conference Format
ii) Exhibition Format
iii) Tour to Nairob's Touristic hot spots

Levels of Involvement Include;
1) Join the list of Partners and Friends of YEAPT Initiative through sponsorhip

2) Get Involved as a Volunteer in the following Categories;
-Youth in Tourism Member
-Youth in Tourism Mentor
-Youth in Tourism Ambassador (Tourism for Positive Change Volunteers)

3) Get involved as an Exhibitor or Conference Participant
