BLOCS MAKING

The COMMUNAUTE METHODISTE UNIE INTERNATIONALE's products are blocs. These blocs are made by mixing soil,cement,sand then compressed.Once out of the machine, they can be used to build
This business will start in the compound of the Church,marketing strategies will be set up in case of selling as much as possible. The blocs making machine boutgh by the church is still new. Their quality will be different from those made by hands (traditional form)

we now with sure that our Rwandan customs need blocs in good shade to build their houses and we know that with our machine in function we will satisfy their need as the need is high.

We need storage of appropriate soil and sand. We need cement in a large quantity. A warehouse will be set up for the blocs already made.
A defined quantity of soil,sand and cement, mixed, then took to the form before being compressed, out of the machine, then moved by a personnel to the warehouse.
Selling will be according the demand of customers. On the need of anybody, an agreement will be signed with the Church for blocs delivering

We are sure that the demand of the new blocs will be high in our Country, the infrastructure has been destroyed by the genocide war.Now baked bricks are rare because of lack of trees
The Rwanda Government does not allow wood cut because this has an negative impact on the environment
A team of persons will have to go through Kigali City and outside to identify who need the new blocs. The cost of the blocs will be reasonable
including transport

To the Government of Rwanda when settling widows'houses and orphans' because it has signed itself to build for survivors from genocide war of 1994
To Organizations like UNCHR and others which want to help the government in that programm of reconstruction
To NGO which interfere in schools and hospitals building
To Rwandese and businessmen who want to get comfortable houses
To people from aboroad who want to participate on the reconstruction

This technology is stillnew in our Country. People used to make bricks by their hands,using forms then fired. They produce bricks with a small size so that builders need lot of bricks and long time to set a house.
Our bricks produced from the machine will have big size.Due to their size,builders will prefer them, they let people to earn time and houses required less number of bricks than those made locally.

Our blocs are smooth and easier for building. Their size does not change. During the construction, builders do not need large quantity of cement between blocs .
When using blocs , quickly the house is finished

Our products are the result from the power of a bloc making machine. The role of the machine in the production is innovative. The blocs are very different from those made by hands.
As soon as the production from the machine is ready, it is also ready for the market, ready to be used ready for all when those made by hands required time to get dried.Some of them are destroyed before being used, it becomes very worst when it is the rain season.

By showing to the customers all different advantages of using new blocs This kind of blocs are made, whenever the rain is running. No shortage of production .
The demand of customers will be satisfied whenever they want.
The staff will be in action even during the rain season as well as the dry season. It will be a non stop business

We have a service of Accountancy well organized. We also are in relationship with Auditors Department which often visit us and provide recommendations and advice.We got each year a management training from experienced and Official Auditors to make us more strong in business. Each training has to end by an evaluation.This evaluation let people being carefull when they are being trainned, the succes gives the workers the right occupation inside

We work from monday to saturday.
8hours per day,that means 48 hours a week.
The hours will be defined according to the demand of blocs. As the demad become high,we have to add hours,the extra hours are paid

Short term
The blocks making project once started, will induce small business around (restaurants,retail shops of suggar,dress,salt,soaps...

Long
This project will improve the development of the country trough staff salaries
It will eradicate slowly poverty.
The environment which was in danger willbe protected . No more trees will be cut,this is a kind of struggling against the desertification.
The living standard will be improved.
