Surf and Volunteer in Peru

Volunteer with youth and Surf (or learn how) in Northern Peru as part of Educational Surf and Adventure Voluntourism programs put on by WAVES for Development.
WAVES has volunteer opportunities for a special Educational Surf program to initiate ongoing programming with local schools. As a Adventure Voluntourist, you complete a weekend orientation and then spend two weeks working and surfing with local youth.
This program will be an exciting time to be part of the WAVES team. WAVES will be working with the youth and community members to organize and carry out activities as part of the WTC Women's Pro Tour Surf Contest to be held in Lobitos between Oct 27th and Nov 3rd. Activities will educate visitors about WAVES' work and raise funds for its programs in Lobitos.
Based on your skills and experience you will contribute to the Educational Surf program as an instructor or assistant in one of the following program areas: English and Arts, Earth Connection, Swimming and Surfing. You will stay in the home of a local family and share your meals with other volunteers staying there.
