Vision
A technically and financially capable entity dedicated to smallhold farmers’ empowerment through carabao-based development.
Mission
Enable the smallhold farmers and their associations or cooperatives to seize carabao-based business opportunities effectively.
Goal
Empowerment of smallhold farmers through sustainable Carabao-based development gains and initiatives.
Objectives
1.To assist smallhold farmer-producers in enhancing growth and sustainability of their carabao-based enterprises;
2.To help smallhold carabao owners organize themselves and strengthen their organization/s; and
3. Help save breedable carabaos from getting slaughtered.
Philippine Carabao Center (PCC) spearheads massive upgrading of carabaos nationwide.
Also appropriate technologies are being generated for better milk and meat products.
However, better milk and meat products hardly reach the commercial market for greater benefit of the smallhold producers.
The million smallhold carabao owners are not organized or in some areas, they are loosely organized.
If organized, they can easily excel in carabao production aspect and not in Carabao-based enterprises.
These smallhold farmers need intensive support services to seize business opportunities through their carabaos.
