DOEN Foundation strives to make the world a liveable place, by providing funds to initiatives in the field of Sustainable Development, with the revenues from the Dutch Postcode Lottery. The key words in the approach of DOEN are respect, innovation, entrepreneurship, confrontation, effectiveness, flexibility and the quality to take risks.
We can only create a better world if people can let changes take place on the basis of their own choice processes. The Business in Development Challenge dares people to think and develop their ideas into feasible solutions. It gives people the possibility to improve their own situation (and those of others). That’s why DOEN supports the Challenge! DOEN Foundation supports the Wackiest Prize. And through the network of DOEN we extend the reputation of the Business in Development Challenge, so we can stimulate people to put their best ideas forward, worldwide.
