VDS and the BiD challenge
VDS is a supporting partner in the BiD Challenge, as it also wishes to utilise its knowledge and expertise for other goals besides its own organisational aims. Its employees have gone through a careful selection process and are continually being encouraged to develop themselves further. They therefore take pride in supporting the BiD Network Foundation in the improvement of its professional skills and in helping the BiD Challenge participants in their further growth and development. VDS does not put much faith in simply donating money but rather in unlocking local potential in order to encourage economic growth in developing countries.
The role of VDS in the BiD Challenge
VDS staff members will develop and organise the training sessions for screeners and coaches, and will also offer the finalists a training session during the finalist week in December. We may also coach finalists while they write their business plans as well as offer the BiD Network Foundation a team training.
