Dutch Design in Development - DDiD
Dutch Design in Development (DDiD) koppelt professionals uit de creatieve zakelijke dienstverlening aan producenten uit ontwikkelingslanden die exporteren naar Europa.
Dutch Design in Development (DDiD) acts as a matchmaker between Dutch designers and small, medium enterprises in developing countries.
Together with local designers and local craftsmanship, Dutch designers develop products which are fine tuned to the European market. DDiD offers Dutch designers the possibility to gain new inspiration and to work in other circumstances with other materials and techniques.
1. DDiD works by order of Dutch importers to stimulate the sales in Europe of sustainable produced products from developing countries.
2. DDiD works by order of small and medium enterprises from developing countries who would like to develop new products and/or who would like to receive training in product development for the European market.
DDiD also gives training/workshops for associates (e.g. producers network) and design schools in developing countries.
DDiD focuses on product design, visual communication and marketing.
