I graduated from BITS, Pilani in June 2006 and immeditaley set out to start Mobile Medics Healthcare India Pvt. Ltd. This venture is based on an award winning business plan that aims at providing high-quality, affordable, primary healthcare to affluent villages of rural India. Over a period of one year, along with a very diverse team, we wrote this business plan, modified it and participated in several competitions globally. Since July 2006, the company is being incubated at BITS, Pilani and we recently completed 6 months of Pilot runs seeing over 800 patient visits in rural areas around Pilani. Our van currently caters to 11 villages in the districts of Jhunjhunu and Churu, Rajasthan in a 30 km zone around Pilani. The service is as of today accessible by over 40,000 people every week.
