I'm an innovative and ambitious youth activist with immense love for the community. I work with West Nile Rural Development Agency (WENIRUDA) - a Community Based Organisation (CBO) based in Arua as an Executive Director. Living in Northern Uganda has provided me with unique opportunity to experience and understand the magnitude and causes of our poverty.
Aware of our potentials as youth, recognizing the fact that no solution will be better than one reaped from our own engagement, WENIRUDA was formed with the aim of mobilizing the population for sustainable development.
To me, the most important thing in life is to make others win. My overwhelming expectation is that through the micro save and credit project, I will be able to change people's lives and liberate them from suppressions of poverty and increase on the human development index; a measure of income, education, and health.
I hold bachelor of Information Technology Degree of Makerere University, Postgraduate Certificate in Research Methods and Writing Skills, and a Certificate in Warehouse Keeping. As part of my professional work, I’m involved in administration of the Electronic Warehouse Receipt System, database design, systems analysis, website development, software and hardware installations, networking, systems design and implementation, etc. My final year project was on Network optimization and security. I hope through my IT knowledge, i will significantly bridge the digital gap.
I therefore welcome all development loving partners to join hands with me. Remember, "You don't have to be a millionaire to change people’s life." It could be as simple as voice of advocacy
