Vrindavan, cultural fusion in chocolate

Vrindavan
The first product (2011) is the Hindi chocolate letter and we released the Indian chocolate coins with reusable stickers in 2012. The chocolate letter is a real Dutch tradition and every year for Sinterklaas over 23 million letters are sold on a population of 16 million. With 790 million people speaking Hindi worldwide there is a huge market potential. The idea of the Hindi chocolate letter is, rakhi's are given with a growing chocolate trend instead of traditional sweets in the last years. (check rakhi web shops for choco/rakhi combo's) And rakhi's are given with a letter in it. A small step from embroided letter with a chocolate gift to a rakhi with a chocolate letter. Our market introduction for Diwali in the Netherlands was very successful with a huge demand for Rakshabandhan. Besides there is especially for Rakshabandhan Christmas, Valentine, Sadhi's and birthdays, and relational/corporate gifting.
